Author's note

SM pigisM by Dan Meyer of smashmethod is a free eroded display font with tall, compressed lettering and a hard-worn surface. Chips, gouges, and uneven edges cut through the strokes.

Concert posters are its clearest fit, especially for punk, industrial, or underground music. The same battered texture can give skate merchandise and game graphics the look of something scraped, stamped, and repeatedly handled. For event branding and entertainment packaging, the irregular silhouettes connect these different uses through a shared sense of physical wear and rough production rather than a neat digital effect.
