Author's note

Smart Patrol NBP by Nate Halley is a free light pixel font with the spare proportions of an early computer interface. Its wide letters use thin strokes and broad, near-circular curves shaped with flat tops and sides. The forms feel technical and unusually airy.

Interface-style graphics and this lettering share the same stripped-back geometry, making it apt for game menus, scoreboard graphics, and science museum exhibits. Its broad shapes can also give electronic music posters or retro technology packaging a convincing hardware-era reference. The clipped corner motif can echo circuit traces, indicator panels, or simple machine icons as part of the wider artwork.
