Author's note

Snapix, Louis Rigaud's free bitmap caps font from 2007, has a crisp early-screen look built from square dots and short horizontal runs. The letters feel blunt and playful rather than retro-futurist, with chunky corners and a compact rhythm that keeps the pixel pattern front and center.

It fits game menus, zine headers, poster titles, app splash screens, and sticker graphics where a free font with obvious pixel structure does the talking. Use it for short headlines, title cards, or monograms when you want the grid to stay visible and give every word that snap-to-screen feel.
