Author's note

Snipped by Lisa Essenmacher is a free experimental sans serif whose wide, weighty forms are cut by steep diagonals and abrupt changes in stroke width. The uneven silhouettes feel forceful and deliberately unruly.

Designers working in music, streetwear, or independent arts publishing could use it for posters, merchandise, and magazine covers with a rough, offbeat editorial voice. Its slashed joins and jutting shapes connect readily with collage, torn-paper graphics, and angular illustration across event flyers and record artwork, letting the words become part of the image rather than a neutral caption.
