Snoutlike Font

Snoutlike by Manfred Klein of NextSpringtimeLooking is a free blackletter font with a medieval cast and an unusually theatrical silhouette. Pointed strokes alternate with swelling curves and looping flourishes, so the lettering recalls hand-drawn initials and decorated manuscript forms.

A fantasy game title and a historical event poster can both use its dark angular shapes to suggest old legends, ritual, or courtly drama. On album packaging and book covers, the oversized curves can become part of an illustrated crest or heraldic device rather than ordinary lettering.
