Author's note

Soldier WW2, by Maj TN Mouat of the UK Army, is a free military dingbat font built around World War II soldier silhouettes. The figures read as sturdy, field-ready shapes with helmets, rifles, and varied stances that give the set a documentary, poster-era feel rather than a playful icon look.

It works naturally in war-history posters, museum panels, reenactment flyers, game title cards, and book covers where a human infantry presence matters more than ornament. As a free font, it also suits chapter openers, memorial programs, and badge-like graphics, because the repeated full-body silhouettes bring instant period context in a compact, unmistakably martial way.
