Sombrero Retro, by Vladimir Nikolic, is a free Mexican display font with chunky, rounded letters and a sun-baked retro mood. The caps feel squat and heavy, with soft corners, pinched joins, and broad shapes that echo cantina signs, old packaging, and painted storefront lettering.
It fits naturally in poster work, taco truck branding, bar menus, festival flyers, and label design, where the free font can carry short headlines without losing its playful weight.
