Author's note

Sooper by Afterglowtype is a free experimental brush font built from abrupt ink shapes, dry scratches, and long wiry strokes. Its letters swing between dense, torn-looking masses and thin wandering lines, with uneven edges and sudden gaps that make the writing resemble improvised marks from a loaded brush.

An underground record label could build its look around this lettering. On album covers, gig posters, apparel, and limited-edition packaging, the splashed forms can become a rough hand-drawn emblem that links the artist's name with the product identity across each new release.
