Sorta Deco JL by Jeffrey N. Levine is a free retro display font with a blunt, poster-era Art Deco mood. The letters are built from big, geometric masses - round O, blocky T, a sharply cut S, and an A reduced to a bold triangle with a small opening - so the overall effect feels simplified, theatrical, and a little machine-age.
It fits branding for bars and diners, event posters, record sleeves, title cards, and oversized cover lines where short words need graphic punch. As a free font, it also works well for monograms and drop caps because the forms read like solid shapes first and lettering second.
