Author's note

Soviet Bold by Iconian Fonts is a free Russian display font with a blunt, poster-era voice. The letters feel cut from solid blocks, mixing sharp wedges, squared forms, and a few Cyrillic-flavored cues that give the whole font a stern Soviet sign and propaganda mood.

It fits packaging with an Eastern Bloc slant, concert flyers, game title screens, book covers, and bar or cafe branding that wants a state-industrial accent. As a free font, it makes most sense in short headlines, title cards, and monograms, where those heavy geometric shapes and unusual letter silhouettes can carry the design fast.
