Soviet Italic Font

Soviet Italic by Iconian Fonts is a free Russian-style italic display font with a hard-edged, Constructivist slant. The letters lean forward in sharp wedges and cut-in angles, mixing blocky weight with narrow diagonal strokes so the whole font feels brisk, severe, and poster-minded.

It makes most sense in propaganda-flavored posters, game logos, record sleeves, event flyers, and title cards where a free font can bring that stark Soviet-era mood without much decoration. Because the shapes are so compressed and directional, it also works well for short headlines, cover lines, and branded wordmarks that need movement more than softness.
