Space Cowboy by liamedwardroberts of FontStruct is a free barcode dingbat font built from stacked horizontal bars and squared gaps. Its stark, modular forms resemble fragments of machine-readable labels.
Its clearest role is in science-fiction game interfaces, where the symbols become coded markers or pieces of a control panel. The same industrial pattern also suits electronic music artwork, technology event posters, and futuristic packaging, but it is most convincing as part of an interface rather than ordinary text.
