Spacedock Stencil, a free sci-fi stencil font by S. John Ross, has the blunt, futuristic mood of movie titling from the early 2000s. The letters are heavy and rounded but broken by deliberate stencil gaps, so the font feels industrial and spacebound at the same time, with a slightly distorted silhouette that keeps it from looking military or utilitarian.
It fits naturally in poster headlines, game logos, DVD-style cover lines, title cards, and nightclub flyers where a free font needs a cinematic tech edge. Because the cuts are large and the shapes stay bold, it also works well for short branding, monograms, and section openers that want a dockyard-meets-starship feel.
