SP Achmim by Scholars Press is a free Russian caps display font with a stark, archaic mood. The letters pair tall, blunt verticals with a more calligraphic stroke that curls and tapers, giving the font a liturgical, early-script flavor rather than a neat modern rhythm.
It fits posters, book jackets, title cards, museum graphics, and record packaging where a brief line of text can carry that old-world severity. As a free font, it also suits monograms and drop caps, because the mix of rigid uprights and sweeping bends gives even a short setting a ceremonial feel.
