Author's note

Spatha Sans by Fernando Carvente is a free decorative display font with towering proportions and sharply changing stroke widths. Its broad curves press against hairline joins, giving the letters a cut-paper crispness rather than the polish of a conventional fashion face. The silhouette is lean and dramatic.

Contemporary fashion and art publishing are its clearest territory, especially on magazine covers, exhibition posters, and lookbooks that use cropped photography or angular illustration. It is strongest as fashion-led display lettering, since the thin joins and oversized curves make each title resemble a graphic silhouette.
