Spicy Rice by Astigmatic is a free distorted display font with massive, uneven letters that swell, pinch, and bend across the line. Teardrop-shaped gaps sharpen its lumpy, comic silhouette.
Restaurant packaging and music posters draw on the same playful force: the broad shapes resemble hand-cut signage, yet their warped proportions feel lively rather than nostalgic, giving food labels a mischievous mascot quality and concert graphics a rowdy pulse. It also suits children's book covers and party merchandise, especially when the lettering itself is meant to become the main illustration, where each word can behave like a squat illustrated logo.
