Spijker 08, by Piet Brantjes, is a free hand-drawn display font with a wiry, sketchbook feel. The letters look quick and a little unruly, mixing thin strokes, sharp hooks, and uneven dots into something that feels more like marked-up signage or notebook lettering than a polished geometric design.
It fits posters, indie record sleeves, zines, café branding, and title treatments where a free font can bring in a restless, handmade edge without feeling cute.
