Author's note

Spikes is a free distorted display font with tall, rough-edged capitals and an aggressively splintered silhouette. The strokes shift between broad slabs and thin cuts, with sharp fragments breaking from the sides and ends. Uneven widths keep the lettering raw rather than orderly.

Horror fans and underground music audiences are the clearest match for this abrasive style. It suits concert posters, game title screens, album packaging, and Halloween event graphics, where the torn contours can echo scratches, thorns, or shattered material. Independent metal labels and horror game studios will find its severe, handmade damage especially useful.
