Author's note

Spit Shine by R. Gast of GreyWolf WebWorks is a free groovy display font with a soft, bubble-molded look that leans straight into late-60s and 70s pop graphics. The letters feel inflated and slick, with thick rounded forms, snug inner cut lines, and little droplet-like highlights that make the whole font seem glossy and playful rather than merely heavy.

That makes it a natural fit for retro poster work, record-style cover lines, youth event flyers, candy or toy packaging, and short logo ideas where the rounded rhythm can do the talking. As a free font, it also suits title cards, big web headers, and quick branding mockups, especially when you want a cheerful, slightly gooey silhouette instead of a plain bold display.
