Author's note

Split Splat Splodge by David Martin of 24hourbauer.co.uk is a free ink splatter dingbat font built from irregular pools, sprays, and scattered droplets. Each mark has the blunt, accidental texture of spilled paint.

Designers working on punk, streetwear, and youth culture projects can use these shapes to push artwork toward a rough, handmade finish. They suit music posters and merchandise, where a dense blot can act as an emblem and smaller specks can suggest impact or mess. In editorial design, the set can supply section markers, distressed spot graphics, or ink-like interruptions for magazine pages about art and underground culture.
