Author's note

Splitendz by Lisa Essenmacher is a free decorative display font with warped serif forms and fractured inline details. Broad, dark strokes shift into thin spikes and curled fragments, giving the letters a cut-and-spliced appearance. The uneven contours feel deliberately unruly.

Designers working in alternative music and youth culture can use it for album artwork, event posters, merchandise, and magazine covers. Its broken contours can echo torn-paper collage, scratchy illustration, or photocopied textures, making the lettering part of the artwork rather than a neutral caption.
