Spokes, designed by Jesse Burgheimer of TDR, is a free groovy display font with huge rounded forms. The letters press toward their outer edges, with broad curves and blunt corners forming a dense silhouette. The circular letters are especially full and smoothly drawn.
Brands aimed at music, youth culture, or playful fashion can use its 1970s flavor for packaging and merchandise. It also fits concert posters and entertainment graphics, where the massive shapes can become part of the artwork. Spokes is most convincing in a compact logo.
