Square Hair is a free Celtic Gothic display font with tall, uneven letters and a rough carved quality. Its narrow strokes shift between blunt serifs and hooked curves, recalling handmade inscriptions. Several letters lean or change width abruptly.
It is strongest on folk festival posters, where the eccentric forms can establish a historical theme at once. Album covers, pub branding, and game titles also suit its distinctive mix of medieval reference and deliberately unruly drawing.
