Square Metal-7 by Style-7 is a free techno display font with broad, squared lettering, sharply clipped corners, and a strong horizontal spread. Open joins and strategic breaks give the characters a fabricated, panel-cut appearance, and the low, extended proportions recall labels and serial markings on industrial equipment.

Game interfaces are its most convincing setting. The same engineered shapes suit motorsport branding, electronic music posters, and science-fiction merchandise, where the lettering can echo machinery, armored vehicles, circuit housings, and technical diagrams. It is particularly effective as interface lettering because the segmented forms already closely resemble markings stamped into a metal console.
