Square80 by Francesco Canovaro of studio kmzero is a free groovy display font whose oversized geometric letters turn circles, arches, and rectangular blocks into a single dense system. Broad curves meet abrupt flat edges, and the very tight fit makes neighboring shapes seem almost connected, much like soft space-age lettering from the 1970s.
Packaging is a natural setting for these compact silhouettes, which can double as product graphics on snack boxes, record sleeves, or cosmetics. The same rounded geometry also fits music posters, arcade game graphics, and streetwear merchandise built around the visual world of disco, retro-futurism, or playful technology.
