Author's note

Square Dance 10 by Cal Henderson is a free pixel bitmap font with a chunky, early-screen rhythm. The letters are built from large square units, but they do not feel rigid - a few stepped corners and offset joins give the font a bouncy, game-era personality instead of a strict grid-demo look.

It fits naturally in retro game graphics, zine headers, poster titles, mixtape covers, and web badges where you want that low-res pulse to be part of the message. As a free font, it is especially handy for short UI labels, title cards, and compact wordmarks, because the big pixel shapes stay graphic and punchy even in just a few characters.
