Author's note

Srpska Kniga 17, by Nikola Kovanovic, is a free Cyrillic caps display font with a sharp poster feel. The letters mix tall, narrow forms with a split treatment - airy outlined upper sections over dense dark lower masses - so the whole font reads like a cut-paper or woodblock interpretation of historic Balkan lettering.

It fits work that wants a strong regional voice: book covers, cultural event posters, title cards, editorial openers, and short logotypes all suit this free font. Use it where a few words need presence, because the stark top-and-bottom contrast gives the caps a memorable rhythm even in brief headlines or monogram-like initials.
