Author's note

Stark Italic, designed by Neale Davidson, is a free condensed futuristic movie-style display font with towering, sharply slanted capitals and broad, forceful strokes. Its narrow silhouettes and deep diagonal cuts suggest speed and impact.

Science fiction and high-impact action themes are its clearest territory, especially for film posters and game artwork built around machinery, racing, or combat. On merchandise, the compressed forms can turn a team name or vehicle graphic into something close to a custom insignia. It also suits event graphics and music packaging that draw on industrial imagery, where the severe angles echo metal panels, blades, and aerodynamic shapes.

The font includes the full alphabet, extended punctuation, and the euro symbol. It is available in regular, italic, bold italic, hollow, and hollow italic versions. Version 1.10.
