Author's note

Starlight Sans JL, Jeffrey N. Levine's free star-filled caps display font from 2001, turns chunky outlined letters into a little night sky. The broad, geometric forms keep it bold and simple, while scattered five-point stars and comet-like spark marks give the font a playful retro sci-fi feel.

It fits posters, party flyers, classroom signs, space-themed packaging, and scrapbook titles where the letters themselves need to carry the theme. As a free font, it also works nicely for short headlines, monograms, or title cards, since the star pattern gives even a few letters enough visual action on its own.
