Author's note

Station 232 by Robert G. Gerlach is a free old-school slab serif display font with the squared, hard-cut build of collegiate and athletic lettering. Broad strokes, blunt serifs, and angular corners give the caps a sturdy scoreboard silhouette.

Sportswear brands and neighborhood bars can use its varsity associations across merchandise, signage, and event posters. It feels direct and familiar. The same block-built letterforms suit magazine features about college sports or local history, where the type can function like a printed team emblem.
