Author's note

Steel Tongs Italic by TracerTong is a free condensed brush display font built from steeply slanted caps, sharp joins, and a lean hand-painted silhouette. The changing stroke widths keep the letters lively and slightly raw.

Editorial design is a natural setting for its fast vertical thrust, especially on magazine covers, music merchandise, concert posters, and film title cards. Its scratched brush edges can echo torn paper, stark photography, or angular illustration, letting credits or names become part of the image rather than a neutral caption within entertainment and publishing graphics.
