StoneCarving by Character of CHR is a free cartoon display font built around broad outlined capitals and busy prehistoric figures. The letters look roughly hewn, with uneven edges and chunky slab-like serifs. Cavemen clamber across and lean against the forms.
Children and families are the clearest audience for its comic storytelling, especially in museum activity sheets and educational games about early human life. It could also suit party posters, since the figures turn each letter into a small illustrated scene. In publishing, it gives children's book covers and humorous history features a ready-made link between the lettering and the subject.
