Stony Island NF, by Nick Curtis, is a free humanist sans serif with a quiet Art Nouveau pull. The letters feel tall and fluid, mixing smooth, almost calligraphic curves with pared-down forms, so the font reads graceful rather than geometric.
It fits naturally in posters, book jackets, boutique branding, magazine cover lines, and title cards where a little period atmosphere helps without turning ornate. As a free font, it also makes sense for short editorial headlines or monogram-like initials, since those long vertical shapes and soft bends give even a few letters a distinctly poised silhouette.
