Author's note
Stor och stark, created by erikcollinder of FontStruct, is a free block-built pixel font with the stark economy of an early digital display. Each letter is reduced to square modules, open gaps, and abrupt right-angle turns. The forms are spare but unmistakably graphic.
Its arcade-era construction suits game title cards and electronic music posters, where the coarse grid can become part of the artwork. The severe geometry also fits technology merchandise built around deliberately low-resolution graphics and simple digital motifs. For a different setting, its modular shapes can echo simple tiled patterns and maze-like diagrams on packaging or experimental editorial pages.
