Author's note

Straczynski Italic, designed by Neale Davidson in 2011, is a free italic display serif with the velocity of a science-fiction title. Its broad, black forms lean hard to the right, cut by sharp wedges and tapered joins. The mix of massive strokes and narrow openings gives the lettering a compressed, aerodynamic silhouette.

Action-film campaigns are its strongest setting, with a cinematic sweep that also suits racing games, event posters, and sports merchandise. Its angular cuts and forceful slant can give automotive branding a fast, engineered identity.
