StrikeOut by John Singer is a free typewriter-style slab serif with a built-in strike-through line. Its monospaced letters have rounded slab endings and the warmth of mechanical typing. A firm bar cuts through every form, turning text into a crossed-out graphic.
It can turn poster headlines into corrections, cancellations, or dry jokes. Editorial covers and music merchandise can use the same device to suggest revision or protest. It best suits alternative publishing and audiences drawn to typewriter imagery.
