Author's note

String and Wire by weknow is a free distorted display font with letters traced in loose bundles of fine, uneven lines. The repeated contours slip out of alignment and bunch at corners, giving the forms a restless, sketched construction.

Experimental music is its clearest setting. It suits album covers and concert posters, where the vibrating linework can echo feedback, cables, or waveform graphics. Fashion editorials and merchandise can turn the tangled, wire-like contours into part of an illustration.
