Author's note

Super Mario 64 DS by David Fens is a free pixel font with the compact, lively look of a handheld game interface. Its forms are tall and tightly packed. Thick uprights, squared openings, and abrupt shifts in width give the lowercase letters a quirky mechanical cadence rather than a neutral terminal style.

Retro platform-game graphics are its clearest setting, especially for title cards, menu screens, and fan merchandise that needs a recognizable console-era voice. It also suits arcade event posters and playful digital stickers, where the narrow proportions and squared inner shapes can echo sprites, interface panels, and other game artwork.
