Author's note

Super Mario Bros. 3, credited to David Fens, is a free pixel display font with the broad, upright weight of an 8-bit game logo. Clipped corners and open interiors keep the capitals lively.

A retro game studio or arcade event could use it for branding that immediately recalls console-era title screens. The broad proportions also suit game packaging and character merchandise, where the lettering can become part of a colorful, upbeat graphic rather than a neutral label. Streaming graphics and nostalgic gaming posters offer a second home for its unmistakably period-specific shapes.
