Author's note

Super Mario World, credited to David Fens, is a free pixel font with broad, weighty forms and the upbeat character of a classic console title. Its compact spacing, square openings, and playful shifts in letter height give the alphabet a lively arcade rhythm.

It can move convincingly between retro game graphics and children's event posters, since the stout lettering feels cheerful rather than technical. Snack packaging and gaming merchandise are also strong fits, with the chunky silhouette able to become part of a playful product identity.
