Author's note

SurrealisM by M. Klein is a free surrealist cartoon dingbat font built from eccentric, densely observed pen-and-ink scenes of human mishap. Its small figures tumble, stride, stretch, and interact with outsized objects, with lively contour lines and sparse crosshatching recalling an offbeat newspaper cartoon.

Experimental theater posters are its strongest setting. Each symbol can act as a miniature comic incident, which also suits album packaging and editorial features about dreams, absurdity, or the unconscious. Event flyers and merchandise gain peculiar little narratives in place of ordinary borders and generic decorative marks.
