Author's note

Surrounding Bold by The Girl Who Cried Type! is a free geometric sans serif with broad, rounded forms and a distinctly low-slung silhouette. Circular curves and blunt joins keep the lettering simple and substantial.

Modernist graphic design is its natural territory, especially posters and music packaging built around oversized type. The generous curves also suit fashion branding and event graphics with a clean, relaxed attitude. That rounded construction feels especially apt for electronic music, street fashion, and contemporary arts events.
