Author's note

Swabby Bold by Brian Sullivan is a free cartoon display font with soft, hand-drawn strokes and a cheerfully uneven silhouette. Its broad curves, blunt ends, and loose proportions make the lettering look friendly and improvised rather than mechanically finished.

That playful construction can carry children's book covers and toy packaging, but it also fits casual cafe signs and event posters. The font is most convincing when a project needs lettering that resembles a quick, confident marker drawing.
