Author's note

Sweepin It Up is a free futuristic display font with extremely tall, compressed letters and a stark mix of solid squared panels and rounded cutouts. Narrow spacing turns the alphabet into a near-continuous mechanical skyline.

Club posters and science-fiction game graphics draw on the same severe vertical thrust, though one reads as nightlife signage and the other as machinery or interface lettering. Its unusual internal breaks also suit electronic music packaging and experimental magazine covers, especially when type is expected to act like an image. The font is most convincing in a large poster title built around its tall, architectural silhouettes.
