Author's note

Synthetique OT by Jess Latham is a free dot-matrix display font built from evenly sized circular marks. The grid-based letters recall electronic scoreboards and early digital readouts, but their open gaps and rounded dots keep the forms lighter and less mechanical than a solid pixel face, with regular spacing giving each form a clear, steady visual pulse.

Music event graphics are its most convincing setting. Its programmed construction also suits game interfaces, technology branding, and science-fiction posters, particularly beside circuit diagrams, pixel art, or geometric icons that repeat the modular pattern and make the lettering seem part of a larger electronic system.
