Author's note

Taal Sans Serif Bold by Lou Mancilla is a free experimental display font built from broad, rounded strokes and sharply cut interruptions. Its letters twist through looping arches, curves, and tight joints, producing an eccentric silhouette that feels drawn as much as typeset.

A playful music label or streetwear brand could use these sculptural forms for logos, packaging, and merchandise. Poster design is another convincing fit, especially for offbeat arts events. The repeated curls and notches echo abstract symbols, making the font particularly suited to experimental music and contemporary illustration.
