Author's note

Taal Sans Serif Light by Lou Mancilla is a free monoline calligraphic display font built from long, fluid curves. Its slender strokes turn through deep loops and tall arches, with small crossbars adding a curious handwritten accent to the repeated forms.

Event posters are a convincing home for this unusual lettering, especially for experimental music or contemporary arts programs. Its continuous motion can also shape album covers and fashion branding, where an unconventional wordmark can feel almost drawn rather than typeset. In digital graphics, its loops can echo line illustrations and winding patterns.
