Author's note

Tanks WW2, by Maj TN Mouat of the UK Army, is a free military dingbat font built around solid World War II vehicle silhouettes. The set reads as a convoy of tanks and trucks with long guns, tracked hulls, and blocky cabs, giving the letters a blunt, utilitarian wartime character rather than a decorative feel.

It suits poster headers, reenactment flyers, museum panels, strategy game graphics, and scrapbook pages where the imagery can do the talking, and this free font also works well for title cards or short section markers. Because the forms are recognizable as equipment first, the font carries a strong historical cue even in very brief display use.
