Teleprinter Bold, by Mark Zanzig, is a free distressed display font with a battered ink-stamp feel. The letters look chunky and old-machine printed, with rough chewed edges, soft drips, and heavy serif shapes that make the whole font feel worn rather than precise.
That gritty texture suits poster titles, zine covers, horror flyers, game title cards, and short band or film logotypes where the letters need a blotchy, low-tech bite. As a free font, it also works well for pull quotes, chapter openers, and compact headlines that benefit from its smeared telegraph-and-typewriter mood.
