Author's note

Tengwar Annatar, Johan Winge's free fantasy script font from 2004, draws on a clearly Tolkien-flavored Elvish look. The letters flow with long, tapering strokes, rounded bowls, and hooked flourishes that make the line feel ceremonial and handwritten rather than merely ornamental.

It fits best where atmosphere matters first: book covers, game titles, film-inspired posters, chapter openers, and short branding marks that need a mythic voice. As a free font, it works especially well for title cards, monograms, and brief display lines, because those sweeping descenders and soft curves carry the mood even in just a few characters.
